This is not my first experience at Downtown East/Wild Wild Wet at Pasir Ris but from my last experience at Downtown East/Wild Wild Wet, there were only a few rides but now, there are way more!!! I was so hyped about The Woosh - it’s Singapore's 50 metres Longest Inflatable Freestyle Water Slide!!!
Wild Wild Wet at Downtown East has been a very popular waterpark with families and youths for years now and their slides are catered for both kids and adrenaline junkies, like me! One thing that I love about Wild Wild Wet is that this water park has so much variety of rides for all ages! Since I am (turning) 24 this year, I was recommended the Lynn Aesthetic Detox Facial - Young and Trendy facial.
Once I walked in, I was greeted by the staffs and was offered tea and fruits before my facial.
The ambience of the spa place is so relaxed and the soothing music on the background makes it even better. I was so excited to start the facial!
From my view... Hahaha.
Obviously, first off, I had to change into a more "relaxed" outfit for the facial.
The staff who was doing the facial for me is Kate. Firstly, she cleansed my face even though I came without any make-up on. Just in case there were any make-up residue left, you know. She started off with toning, gommage peel, then removed all of my blackheads and whiteheads! I thought my beauty regime was good and that I have none of those but... I WAS WRONG!!! Kate mentioned that I had a lot of blackheads and whiteheads (especially on my nose) and it was painful when she was removing them, but worth the pain though!
And then the best part, steam!!!! Together with the skin scrubbing machine and suction. Felt so good. It was like as if all the gunk has been pulled out of my face!
Oh, apologies for not having much photos to show you! I had to close my eyes most of the time and Kate was busy too so it was hard to take photos during the facial itself! But anyway, those took about half and hour and next up was the mask!!! Can barely move with the mask on, but I had it on for about... Close to an hour if I'm not wrong. Believe it or not, it was so relaxed that I fell asleep!
And the mask made me look like smurfs or a character from Avatar... Didn't know it looks so blue under the light! Then, she applied some oxygenating serum/detox gel (customize by skin)... Lip, eye cream... Even received a shoulder and foot massage! But that's not all, the best part, the massage bed! Awesome.
Finished it off with toning and face cream.
The facial ended so quickly, by the time I know it 2 hours has gone by! I swear I wanted it to last longer! Ha! Was served tea and fruits again after the facial.
Even received oranges from them! (My appointment was a few days before Chinese New Year, that's why.)

Here's a before and after photo! Those spots that I circled used to have white heads (and there was a bump too) and Kate managed to remove it without leaving any scars! In this photo it's still healing so that's why it's still pretty visible.
