So basically, my 8 months of holidays has finally came to an end. August was here and therefore, it's time for me to finally come back on track - studying it is! It was like a sudden smack on my face though, well, literally. In a blink of an eye, my "Eat. Sleep. Hangout. Repeat." life ended, just like that.
School is strict when it comes to punctuality. If you were to report in class 10 minutes after the reporting time, you'll be considered late. The fuck? First day of school didn't really started off well. My "supposedly" half an hour bus journey turned out to be an hour instead. Traffic jam + slow bus driver, they just don't click. I was on time though, just that waiting for Miranda (a classmate of mine whom I met during orientation) took quite a while, but we're not late, still. What a relief. All 14 (including my lecturer) pairs of eyes were on us the moment we stepped into class. (And yes, my class are all girls.) School didn't do much justice when it comes to money. My sewing kit costed 163 bucks, textbooks for references are already 350+ bucks, and I bet I've already spent like close to 100+ on other necessities itself. I've yet to get Copic markers for Fashion Illustration class, and this already summed up to about more than a 100+ bucks? Yes, only for like... Say 20 Copic markers? My god. That's not all - printing, paper doll... Everything needs money too.
Come to think of it, next week will be my fourth week of school already, which is the last week for this month! I can't believe I've actually survived school. But it's only three weeks, not three years, YET.
Anyway, it's Friday today and I've no class this week. Woke up around late afternoon but I just can't bring myself to finish up the assignments for research methodology class. I just find it extremely difficult to concentrate and focus. Can't seem to do anything on an empty stomach! Heading over to Drive-Thru McDonald's to meet my Mom, third and fourth sister for dinner! TIME TO TAKE A SHOWA.
