Which side are you on?

Twilight can never beat Harry Potter when it comes to being popular fantasy series-turned-movie sensations and have passionate, vocal fanbases that extend well beyond their target demos.

Twilight fans are scary crazy. Those hormone driven fans would attack a Catholic Church if Edward told them to. Tell me I'm lying? Just look at any comment thread associated with Twilight and you'll see. Just to show you what type of people they are, some of those fans post hate comments on Taylor Lautner (who's in the movie by the way) just because they're on "Team Edward". It's insane! Last time I checked, no one got their nose broken by attending a HP related gathering, but that can't be said for that poor Twilight fan who just wanted to go to a mall and get an actor's signature, and she ended up coming home with a broken nose.

In that particular case, most were kind of crazy and acting as if they knew the characters personally. The whole thing with Emma Robert was also blown way out of proportion. Mostly I think the reason why most twilight fans are labelled crazy is because they tend to not be able to tell the difference between fictional and reality, and everything about the movie, the characters, and even the actors are taken too personally.

It's absolutely infuriating to me the thought of having to choose between the two. I love Harry Potter and I love the Twilight series. For totally different reasons. Other than the fact that both had multiple books and had Rob Pattinson in them, they are worlds apart.

I admit, I am a fan of both. As for movies, the HP films kick Twilight's ass, no doubt, I really can't stand the Twilight film franchise. But, then again, I'm not a teenage girl, romance only gets me so far, I need more action, thrills, excitement and simply more fun and the Twilight "Saga" is all about the romance with very little sprinkling of the rest. It was an entertaining read and I really enjoyed it. And in reality, not everything Harry Potter has been great, but overall I have really enjoyed the ride and look forward to the final two films. I'm sure someone will drag me to see the rest of the Twilight series, just as they had to drag me kicking and screaming to see New Moon, but that doesn’t change my enjoyment of them and the fact that yes, I am a fan of both sets.

But, I still prefer Harry Potter more. It's been with me for 10 amazing years. So how long was Twilight with me again?
