When Hannah Montana: The Movie hits the silver screen in April, millions of young girls will pray that it's not the last they'll see of the blond-bewigged eponymous heroine. You can count Miley Cyrus among them!
The teenage pop icon, who has battled rumours that she wants off the show that made her a household name, says that she's all for a fourth season – but that it's entirely in the hands of Disney. Disney Channel says it's mulling it over.
But Cyrus is evidently happy that's she's no longer overshadowed by her fictional counterpart – a conundrum weirdly parallel to the one that Miley Stewart the fictional character faces in the Hannah Montana The Movie. And she is earnest about the fact that she'll have to move on at some point.
"It's just an honour for people to be able to relate to me and my music – and not so much the character anymore," she says. "I can't be Hannah Montana forever. I have to have something after this. I can't do this when I'm 30."
And speaking of rumours, Miley Cyrus showed off her bikini bod in The Bahamas over the weekend. She stood out in her black and hot pink bikini at the beach in the Bahamas on Saturday. She soaked up the sun and took a banana boat ride with her siblings before performing on stage later on that night. The singer looked like she was enjoying her vacation although she made sure to stay connected to everyone back home twittering to Demi Lovato and Heidi Montag all weekend!
And not only that, rumours started to spread saying that Miley Cyrus is fat. On Friday, Cyrus bemoaned her body on Twitter. A few minutes later, she added: "Wow. Now I'm upsetting people cause im putting down skinny girls.”
